Cadwell Weekend, June 2017
Consistently the best weekend of the year, and so it proved again. Slickly run as usual by Classic Bike Trackdays but with no magazine support this year, it was slightly quieter than normal but just as laid back and friendly. The weather was spot-on all weekend though the ice-cream van was sadly missed. We bumped into many of you lot there though which was great.
Despite the interuption by the air ambulance (get well soon fella), the Saturday sessions finished earlier than normal, and the paddock went quiet as everyone fired up the BBQ's and cracked open the cider. There was no band on this time, but there was a DJ and the bar stayed open until 11pm.
As a bonus, Team Classic Suzuki turned up Sunday morning with their money-no-object Katana endurance racer, for TV star and housewives favourite Guy Martin to take round for a few shakedown laps in preparation for Spa next weekend.
Thanks to Darin, Rob and Caren for arranging yet another great weekend and letting us join in again. We'll definitely be there again next year.
